Description: Reiki found me at a time when depression had a serious hold on me and I didn't have the self-care tools to see myself out of my situation. A friend of mine was practicing Reiki, and she offered me a session. I felt incredibly light afterwards, like a cartoon anvil had been lifted off my chest. I felt like a kid again. I vowed to do my spiritual hygiene in order to keep my perspective wide and my head up. I became a Reiki Master to help myself, and found that I loved sharing this joy with others.
