Description: Hi, I'm Christine. I believe life should be an adventure. We all need alignment & balance in order to be able to enjoy it as such. Whether you're looking to just melt & relax and treat yourself to a well-deserved massage, or you are looking for some deeper healing therapy, it would be my pleasure to serve you.
I originally practiced massage therapy in my hometown of Chicago. I continued my practice while living in Hawaii, and now am practicing here since moving to Los Angeles (CMT 62074). Other certifications of mine include Yoga Nidra, which largely consists of guided meditation and subliminal work - (you can hear sample meditations I've created on my new YouTube channel here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChRhCRC5yHTe7XgK81n4Isw) - as well as Reiki healing. I provide my sessions to men & women within the convenience of their home, hotel, or private office.
My clientele has included athletes, yogis, masseuses, business professionals & executives, people in the entertainment and music industry, hospitality workers, those affected by spinal cord injuries (SCIs) as well as less involved sports-related injuries, mothers & housewives, students, long-distance commuters, pilots, & other world travelers. My sense of touch is very intuitive. I've often been told my hands "turn on" when a session begins and generate so much heat while I'm working that they feel "like heaters" on the body, naturally warming up the muscles. I often surprise clients with my range of strength, and have often received remarks on my ability to consistently hit that "sweet spot" of pressure that feels most therapeutic, soothing, and tension-relieving to them. I often make converts of those opposed to any kind of deep tissue work. I sometimes even have clients fall asleep while getting deep tissue work done with me. I'm frequently told that my sessions are the best or at least amongst the very best that they've ever had. What's signature to my sessions is the level of presence and connection I bring to a session, and length of time I spend tuning into, feeling, and fully being with the existing tension until it's significantly relaxed - I've learned over the years that the deepest healing is never rushed. I just intuitively know how, how deeply, and how long to penetrate the muscle to hit that sweet spot that just dances on that threshold of bliss without the client experiencing pain. I also do lighter sessions with long, meditative wave-like strokes for overall relaxation and slowing into that bliss state...I often do some combination of the two. I always bring my incredibly comfortable massage table (also consistently get compliments on it), fresh, tasteful linens, natural & soothing massage oil, a relaxing soundtrack, and have the ability to incorporate aromatherapy and/ or candles *upon advanced request. I look forward to meeting you, and introducing you to my signature healing massage sessions.
