My Other Website:
Description: I am a Nationally Board-Certified (BCTMB), Trauma-Informed, Delaware-Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) (Delaware License # MT-0001837), having graduated from Deep Muscle Therapy School in Wilmington in February 2005. I have since attended workshops in CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release through the Upledger Institute, and Reflexology through the International Institute of Reflexology, Barnes' Myofascial Release, as well as hands-on workshops in Cupping, Oncology Massage, Russian/Sports Massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage, Thai-Yoga Massage, Indian Champissage (TM), Rotator Cuff, Whiplash, Scoliosis, Fibromyalgia, Sciatica, Trigger Point, Chair Massage, Active Isolated Stretching, Advanced Orthopedic Massage, and various Advanced Myofascial Techniques. I earned the Certified in Advanced Myofascial Techniques (CAMT) credential in early 2011, and the Certified Medical Massage Practitioner (CMMP) credential in 2015. A sports enthusiast myself, I have assisted performing massage therapy at such events as the MS Bike to the Bay, Delaware Marathons, Easter Seals Volleyball Tournaments, Fair Hill Mountain Bike Classic, as well as weekly University of Delaware Blue Hens Football Team clinics (entire seasons of 2004-5 & 2005-6). In addition to my own massage therapy business, I have done therapeutic massage at chiropractic wellness centers, massage centers, spas, hotels, and various health festivals and sports events. I also taught therapeutic massage for a total of 5 years. In addition to practicing at a massage center and spa, I practice out of my home studio in the beautiful Upper Pike Creek hills of suburban Newark, and I still only very occasionally travel to clients' locations. I am an active American Massage Therapy Association professional member/insured since 2005, and a National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork member since 2005.
