I identify the areas you hold tension in your body and address the appropriate muscles to release that tension. In addition to the session time, I provide an assessment interview that goes through your daily routines to determine cause of muscle stress. After the session, I suggest solutions to modify your daily routine to limit unnecessary stress on your muscles, including sleeping position, posture, gait, stretches. Couples Massage: I've been assisting teaching in Ashmead College since June 2004. In my own practice, I offer classes in which I demonstrate massage techniques with thorough explanations on each technique and the muscles involved. The clients participate in the session while one is on the table and the other follows my demonstration and my guidance in massage. You can learn the basics of massage in even one class in order for you to practice on each other at home safely and effectively. In follow up classes, I can teach different strokes and different techniques on different muscle groups. Acroyoga: In this partner yoga of Base (practitioner) and Flyer (patient), gravity is used to increase the effectiveness of stretches and allow easier access to deeper muscles. (see attached pictures) I also teach basic acroyoga. A fun and therapeutic recreation that can be practiced with friends and family. My background: I came to Seattle in 1999 as a software engineer, but decided to change my career and help people in a more direct fashion. My overall rating of this provider: Highly Recommended Would I use this provider again? Yes The following are my expanded comments regarding my experience with this provider: Nadov Nahari has the gift of healing. The therapeutic work that he provides with his hands and his quiet and peaceful presence is more than a palliative treatment. He understands the physiology of pain and with compassion brings relieve to both body and soul. You leave the massage as if floating with a healthy lightness of being. Stress and heartaches make the body constrict and get sick. Massage therapy if done well can be most healing and restorative.
