I am a graduate of the Hirudaya Holistic Life Center in San Luis Obispo California. I currently specialize in a small number of modalities, and customize each session for your specific needs. I am continuing my studies and plan to offer additional services in the near future.
For swedish and integrated oil-massage, soft music plays while you lay on a heated table in a warm, candle-lit room. Long, flowing strokes relax your body and nurture your spirit; pressure is gradually increased to relieve specific areas of tension. Hypoallergenic oil is used.
For Deep Tissue Sculpting, deep and deliberate strokes produce slow muscle release and profound healing on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. This gentle and painless technique provides lasting change and relief from chronic pain due to injury, surgery, and repetitive stress patterns. No oil is used for Deep Tissue Sculpting–however it is often combined with Swedish Oil-Massage for a truly decadent experience.
For clothed-shiatsu massage, Pressure-Point Shiatsu, Zen-Touch Shiatsu, Tui Na and Passive Joint Movement are used in an integration of traditional Chinese and Japanese techniques. Wear loose fitting clothing for this massage which can be performed on the table or on floor mats. No oil is used.
If you choose to add aromatherapy to your session, a blend of pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils is formulated especially for you—to relieve your stress, anxiety, fatigue, headache, depression, allergies and many other emotional and physical health issues. Essential oils can be diffused into the air or blended into your massage oil.
Chair massage is available at your site for small groups.
