I've studied pranayama yoga with a Master since 2001 and travel to India with him. I lived in Varanasi, one of India's most holy cities, for 6 weeks studying yoga in 2003. I graduated from IPSB in 2005; The Institute of Psycho Structural Balancing with my certified massage technician certificate. I've been a Reiki Practitioner since 2001. I'm also a portrait artist in oils and now in photography as my hobby.
I start my session with a short meditation to connect us and to share my ideas on 'Breathing with Intention'; of drawing the universe in with your appreciation and love, bodhi chita, a buddhist concept...you translate that on my table as you draw my fingers, hands and body in with this same appreciation and love.
This is a meditation for me and i run my reiki symbols while i'm offering my Swedish / Sports Deep Tissue massage...I use many modalities during the course of the session and the connection is truly all about BREATH work...and an intimate exchange of breath with me running my reiki symbols doing sound healing through my breath and creative polarity holds with differenct chakras...its body to body contact, but a full DEEP tissue Swedish Style massage that takes over 90 minutes.

What is R E I K I ?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

For me, tantra is an intimate exchange of BREATH, a connection between us that develops naturally through my short guided meditation and that proceeds through many polarity holds during the massage...and hopefully takes you on a journey that you can manifest when you leave my home.
What is Champi Head Massage?

Indian head massage has its foundation in the ancient Indian system of medicine known as Ayurveda. It was the ancient holy men known as Rishi's from the Himalayas that were responsible for founding the Ayurvedic medical system around 5,000 years ago. But Ayurveda is more than just a medical system, it is in fact a way of life. The Ayurvedic system includes knowledge to bring about physical, mental and spiritual health, based upon diet, massage performed with herbal and aromatic oils, cosmetics and even surgery, although not the surgery we know in the west.The word Ayurveda itself means 'the science of life'. It is derived from the Sanskrit words 'ayur' which means life and 'veda' meaning knowledge or science.
Champi has traditionally been performed in India by mothers and grandmothers on their children, to encourage the growth of thick and lustrous hair, and to promote health and wellbeing among family members. The women in India who have practiced this regularly are true testament to the benefit it has on the health of the hair and scalp as is evidenced in their beautiful, shiny, thick hair.
Champi has become popular in the western world as the perfect stress buster - deeply relaxing and yet wonderfully invigorating. Champi has been nicknamed champissage by Narendra Mehta, one of the pioneers who has helped popularise this treatment. The western version of the traditional art is an energetic, stress busting therapy which focuses on the neck, shoulders, scalp and face. Modern champi is rather more gentle than the strokes traditionally practiced in some parts of India, where the head is pummelled and banged quite hard to encourage the circulation.
I work in a secluded bungalow with air conditioning, candles, aroma therapy, tranquil music, easy freeway access from the 5 and 134 and a clean shower is available. "I am offering a 90 minute Swedish style circulatory and deep tissue massage incorporating intimate breath work, silent mantra / reiki energy generation, passive joint mobilization, myofascial release on the neck, polarity therapy, ear reflexology, sound healing and insightfulness.
