Description: I enrolled at the Guild for Structural Integration in Boulder, Co. in 2007. The field of study is Structural Integration, a touch therapy created by Ida P. Rolf, PhD. She discovered that if you change the structure of the body, pain associated with injuries, physical or emotional, could be resolved. The work involves deep compressive strokes to connective tissue called: fascia. Fascia is a supportive network in the body that can when injured, deform and become glued together limiting proper function. With manual manipulation and joint movement, we are trying to create lift of the muscular/skeletal system which establishes balance from feet to head. This can carry-over into a feeling of overall wellness and ease. I was certified in 2008 and have a private practice in West Los Angeles.
