Provider Review System and Policy
HolisticAnywhere.com sponsors a Provider Review System. Under this
voluntary review system, any User may submit a review of any Provider's services (and/or products). The reviewed
Provider may, in turn, upon reading the submitted review, choose to do one of the following:
- publish the User's review as is, without additional remarks;
- publish the User's review as is, but with additional remarks of the Provider's choosing;
- withhold the User's review from public inspection (the default choice); or
- reject the User's review for cause (see below);
Only those reviews the Provider chooses to publish will be made
available through the Provider's profile. All other reviews (including those rejected for cause, reviews
withheld by the Provider from public inspection, and reviews not yet read by the Provider) will not be
published. The Provider may reclassify any review at any time, but once read, a review cannot be
reclassified as unread.
Edit/Retraction. Both the submitting User and reviewed Provider may each edit (or
delete) their respective comments and remarks at any time. If the submitting User edits his review, the review
will again be reclassified as unread to allow the reviewed Provider to read and remark on the changes. If the
submitting User chooses to delete the review, the entire review, including any remarks that may have been added by
the Provider, will be deleted from the system.
Password access. When a review is originally submitted, the User selects a password
which will be required later, should the User ever decide to amend or delete the review. If the User loses
or forgets the previously selected password, the password cannot be recovered and the review cannot be amended or
deleted. Without the password, the User must either live with his/her review as posted or contact the
reviewed Provider to request that the review be withheld from publication. With the correct password, a
submitted review can be amended or deleted AFTER (not before) the review is published. Until the review is
published, only the reviewed Provider will be able to access the submitted review.
Reviewer's Photo. The reviewing User may attach a photo of him/herself to the
submitted review. If the User wishes, the attached photo may be made available to the reviewed Provider and
optionally to the public as well (assuming the Provider chooses to publish the submitted review). The Provider,
however, shall not publish the review should such photo violate the Terms of Service.
If the reviewer's photo is overtly provocative, it must be
identified as such prior to publication. It is the Provider's responsibility to verify the suitability of any
attached photo before publication and, when necessary or appropriate, to either withhold publication or apply a
courtesy screen. (When a courtesy screen is applied to a reviewer's photo, it is the default courtesy
screen. Customized courtesy screens are not supported for reviewer's photos.)
Privacy. In
compliance with our Privacy Policy, it is the submitting User's choice whether he/she
personally identifies himself/herself in the submitted review and when doing so, which parts, if any, of such
identifying information may be published to the public or even to the Provider. The User may also amend
his/her privacy choices once the review is published. However, absolutely no personal identifying information
regarding the reviewed Provider, the submitting User or any third party is permitted in the review or Provider's
additional comments to the review without the prior express consent of the identified party.
Responsibility. Each Provider assumes complete and total responsibility for any
review he/she chooses to publish, including those portions of the review not submitted (or amended) by the Provider
him/herself. Each Provider exercises sole discretion and assumes sole and total responsibility for the publishing of
Provider's reviews.
Withheld reviews. A Provider may withhold any review from publication for any reason
or no reason.
Rejection. Any submitted review which violates the
Terms of Service (which includes, without limitation, this policy and our Privacy Policy)
may be tendered for rejection. Reviews tendered for rejection will either be removed from the system or edited by
HolisticAnywhere.com if HolisticAnywhere.com substantiates the Terms of Service violation. However, unless and
until a claimed violation is substantiated, the review will be classified as having been withheld at Provider's request.
HolisticAnywhere.com assumes no responsibility to involve itself in any dispute and reserves the right not to act on any
request for rejection even if a violation is present.
False, inaccurate or misleading reviews. Like all other
Content, reviews must be truthful and not misleading. Providers are free to add any appropriate and truthful
remarks to their reviews to correct false, inaccurate or misleading statements which may at times be made by some reviewers.
Providers, however, are not permitted to submit their own reviews of themselves and if we detect this is happening, we
reserve the right to publicly identify the violators and take any such other action as may be appropriate.
Third-party defamation. Reviews which harm the reputation of a third-party (i.e. any
party other than the reviewing User or the reviewed Provider) are not permitted.
Reporting. The Provider's profile reports the number of
reviews the Provider has received that are currently published (e.g. "3 published") along with a "My Reviews"
button to read those reviews. At the Provider's option, his/her profile will also disclose the total number of reviews
received by the Provider where such total number includes the number of published reviews plus the number of withheld and/or
unread reviews belonging to the Provider. For example, "3/5 published" indicates the Provider has published
3 reviews out of 5 total received, with 2 reviews unpublished (withheld or simply left "unread").
Note: No review statistics are reported in a Provider's profile and no "My Reviews" button is
displayed until a review of the Provider has been submitted.
Voluntary. Active participation in the Provider Review System is strictly voluntary.
Notification. Upon submission of any new (or amended) review, an automatic notification will
be sent to the registered (verified) e-mail address of the reviewed Provider.
